Key Findings

As per IMF’s January 2023 estimate, Global GDP is expected to increase by 2.9% in 2023 (0.2% higher than October estimates) indicating optimistic outlook and better resilience across many economies.
According to Gartner’s projections (as of January 2023), global technology spend1 growth is expected to witness a y-o-y growth of 4.5% in 2022, a decline compared with their previous projections of 5.6% (as of October 2022).

Revenues grew +2.0% q-o-q. On a y-o-y basis, revenue grew around 7.7% in reported currency terms.
Among geographies, EMEA was up 6% but its trajectory remains unsure for the coming quarters. Revenues for most verticals grew sequentially. BFSI grew at a slower rate while Manufacturing and Telecom picked up well this quarter.

Pure-play BPM revenues grew at +0.1% q-o-q, impacted by inflation and other macroeconomic factors around the globe.
Attrition dropped considerably this quarter as prevailing supply side issues are being resolved.

Revenues for select set of global companies increased by 11.6% q-o-q and 4.2% y-o-y.
Employee additions remained stable with a slight increase of 0.8% q-o-q.

Revenues have increased significantly, growing by 13% q-o-q and 34% y-o-y.
Profits for two-thirds of new-age listed start-ups increased by more than 50%.
