Virtual Trade Mission to UK | London Tech Week

UK is Indian IT industry's 2^nd largest market contributing almost 17-18% to the export revenue. India is UK's 2^nd largest source of investment with "Tech Telecom" sector contributing a significantly. As per NASSCOM estimates, tech trade between the UK and India stood at a little over $25bn in 2020-21.

In May this year, PM Boris Johnson and Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced their ambition to double the value of UK-India trade over the next decade as well as a shared intent to begin work towards a comprehensive free trade agreement (FTA). All major Indian IT companies have a significant presence in the U.K. and contributing enormously to the British economy and workforce. However, it is also the market where the SMEs struggle to find the right base, an appropriate landing point and cater to suitable market opportunities.

In order to hand-hold smaller companies in their expansion journey, NASSCOM presents an opportunity to participate in the Online Trade Mission to UK coinciding with the world famous London Tech Week scheduled from 20^th - 24^th September. NASSCOM mission is supported by Department for International Trade UK (DIT), Grant Thornton, techUK,KNAV and Welsh Government. We are also in discussion with few other entities for seeking support on the NASSCOM trade mission.

The virtual mission will be a comprehensive mix of NASSCOM exclusive programs along with recommended sessions of international quality during the week.
