Intelligence as a way to accelerate AI Adoption to address the need for security, increasing need for real-time execution of intelligence at the source where it is needed, as well as drive cost efficiency in AI implementations. While the availability of ubiquitous internet and computing power on demand created an epic shift of computing from the edge of the network,(local servers) to a centralized platform what we call as ‘cloud’, a reverse shift has already started - what we call as “Edge-ification” due to the above reasons, coupled with today’s technology that is enabling it. This presentation primarily addresses the various emerging applications that underscores the need for Edge Intelligence and how various industries can build and automate execution of intelligence to easily, securely resolve a pain point at the source of its creation rather than outsourcing it entirely to the cloud.
