The BPO industry has thrived on labor arbitrage, moving to Tier II/III cities or even setting up rural BPOs could work to advantage by helping expand the domestic markets as well as keeping costs in check. 

There are various direct/indirect business benefits of moving out of metro towns to smaller locations:

• Cost benefits up to 10-25%
• Availability of talent pool
• Higher retention rate, and
• Distributed delivery model

It is in this regard that Department of IT & Electronics, Go UPalong with NASSCOM would like to invite you for an out reach workshop in to consider investing in Tier II/III cities. Go UP will make a presentation in front of the industry outlining the salient features of IT & Startup policy of the state as well as various incentives offered under Govt. of India's IBPS scheme.
