Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility

1. Developing Deep-Skilling Programs

  • Lead the design and implementation of Deep Skilling Programs in collaboration with industry leaders, equipping students and professionals with high-demand, industry-relevant skills.

2. Driving Large-Scale Deep-Skilling Program Adoption

  • Partner with member companies and academia to drive widespread skilling adoption in academic institutions, building a world-class talent pipeline for India’s ER&D sector.
  • Work with industry partners to upskill new hires and the existing workforce, ensuring they are trained in high-demand skills with significant supply gaps.

3. Strengthening Academia & Industry Collaboration

  • Build and scale faculty mentorship programs, connecting industry experts with deep-skilling institutions to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Expand industry-led hackathons and innovation challenges across deep-skilling network colleges, fostering hands-on problem-solving and entrepreneurship in India’s talent ecosystem.
  • Strengthen deep-skilling college and industry connections, ensuring a seamless transition of skilled graduates into top technology firms.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

We seek a high-impact leader with deep expertise in ER&D workforce transformation, talent development, and corporate-academia partnerships.

The Right Candidate Will Have:

  • 15+ years of experience, including at least 5 years in ER&D or digital deep-skilling, workforce transformation, or talent development, preferably in industry associations or multinational corporations.
  • A proven track record of designing and scaling deep-skilling programs that impact thousands of students and professionals.
  • Strong connections with CXOs, HR leaders, and academia heads, with the ability to influence industry-wide workforce strategies.
  • Expertise in emerging tech skilling and addressing talent supply-demand gaps in critical industries.
  • A strategic and execution-focused mindset, capable of driving large-scale initiatives with measurable impact.
