As a Program associate, you will play a critical role in executing skilling programs, working closely with corporates, academic institutions, and industry leaders under the guidance of the Head– Talent & Workforce Development.

Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility

1. Program Management & Execution

  • Oversee the implementation of deep-skilling and workforce development programs for students and professionals.
  • Work with training partners, academic institutions, and industry leaders to ensure smooth execution of skilling initiatives.
  • Track program effectiveness, enrolment progress, and impact metrics, ensuring alignment with Nasscom’s skilling goals.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Industry Collaboration

  • Liaise with member companies, academia, and skilling partners to drive adoption of upskilling programs.
  • Support the execution of industry-academia mentorship programs, hackathons, and innovation challenges.
  • Coordinate workshops, and networking events to enhance skilling adoption.

3. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain and update program databases, tracking enrollments, certifications, and industry participation.
  • Analyze skilling data and provide insights for continuous program improvements.
  • Prepare impact reports, presentations, and communication materials for industry stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements and trends in emerging technologies, attending industry conferences, webinars, and relevant events.
  • Support the negotiation and structuring of partnerships, investments, or acquisition deals with selected startups.
  • Assist in managing accounts, including monitoring account activities, maintaining accurate records, and resolving partner queries.
  • Help coordinate and manage various aspects of event planning and execution, like curating sessions, scheduling, and on-site support to ensure smooth and successful events.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional with experience in managing skilling programs, talent initiatives, or workforce development projects.

  • 3-5 years of experience in program management, workforce development, talent skilling, or industry-academia collaboration.
  • Strong experience in stakeholder coordination, event execution, and industry partnerships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and data tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience in digital skilling, AI, analytics, or emerging technology training initiatives is a plus.
  • This position is on third party payroll
