Nasscom continues to strengthen its partnerships with key government stakeholders to drive innovation, enable strategic policy alignment, and reinforce India’s leadership in the global technology arena.

• At the national level, Nasscom and industry leaders engaged with Hon’ble Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry, to deepen collaboration on accelerating India’s innovation and digital leadership. A key milestone from the discussion was the resolution of the long-pending social security issue under the UK-India Free Trade Agreement through the signing of the double contribution convention—an important step that will streamline compliance, reduce operational costs, and enhance global talent mobility.
• Together with its ER&D Council, Nasscom held a meaningful dialogue with Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu on advancing the state’s technology ecosystem. The conversation focused on expanding skilling initiatives, piloting DeepTech use cases, and nurturing innovation across engineering, research, and entrepreneurship. The engagement underscored a shared vision between industry and government to build a robust, future-ready talent pipeline and catalyse inclusive growth.
• In Maharashtra, Nasscom convened a high-impact session at the Industry Dialogue 2025. Chaired by Nasscom President Rajesh Nambiar, the dialogue brought together leaders from global capability centres, government, and the startup ecosystem to examine how the state can accelerate its transformation into a next-generation GCC and innovation hub—anchored in AI, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure. Speaking at the inaugural plenary, Nasscom reinforced Maharashtra’s unique positioning—driven by a proactive government, a diverse industrial base, and a strong focus on ecosystem building. The dialogue called for a shift from siloed growth to interconnected ecosystems, where startups, service providers, engineering talent, and digital platforms come together to enable scaled transformation.
