In line with nasscom’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) agenda for the year ‘Real-life Actions for Mainstreaming Inclusion’, we are excited to announce the ‘Recognizing DEI Champions’ Initiative in partnership with Aon. Through this initiative, our aim is to support organizations across sectors – tech as well as non-tech – establish DEI practices that not only help them create an inclusive value system and culture, but also act as a key differentiator and a strategic business imperative providing enterprises a competitive edge.

In this context, the nasscom-Aon study will result in the publication of a compendium of comprehensive Research Insights Report incorporating the first ever annual DEI Scorecard, along with an array of actionable insights derived from the comprehensive 2-stage surveys conducted through November 2022 January 2023 and February 2023-March 2023 respectively that garnered responses from close to 500 organizations across 14 broad industry clusters in Stage 1. Of these, 200+ organizations were selected for the next stage. A carefully formulated and robust DEI Assessment Framework that is linked to Awards & Accolades, across a range of areas will also be shared. Through the awards we aim to acknowledge and reward luminaries in the DEI space, who have not only undertaken seminal initiatives to embed DEI in their organization’s culture, but have also evangelized and implemented impactful policies/programs acting as a north star for other enterprises to follow suit and create greater social good. Further, a compilation in the form of a Compendium of Best Practices will also be released which will outline a multitude of innovative and effective initiatives/ interventions adopted by companies, that are noteworthy and inspirational.
