About AI Gamechangers

An Initiative to Accelerate India's AI Excellence

Artificial intelligence is now transforming every walk of life like never before. As the world faced the unprecedented crisis of COVID-19, India reported a 45 per cent increase in AI usage among businesses and organisations (according to a report published by PwC), the highest of all the countries. This rapid adoption of AI in the country makes it an emerging hub for innovative and transformational AI solutions and investments. To bring these unexplored possibilities to the fore, NASSCOM introduced the AI Gamechangers program last year to promote and encourage AI adoption in India, which recognised innovative and impactful ideas coming from 300+ applicants.

AI Gamechangers 2022 with the theme “Realizing India's AI Promise” will recognize AI Innovations from grass roots to large enterprises that are impactful and scalable. Applicants from Enterprises, Startups, Government bodies, Academic Institutes and NGOs will come together and showcase their innovative ideas to the world and, the award-winning entries will feature in the annual AI Gamechangers compendium at NASSCOM’s annual flagship AI event. The recognition and the associated prestige will catapult the winners to be seen as true Gamechangers in the field of AI.

  • Is there any application fee?

    No

  • What is the deadline to apply?

    The application period for AI Gamechangers 2022 will be open from Feb, 8th - March, 15th 2022.

  • How and where will the presentation round be held?

    The presentation round would be conducted virtually. The details will be shared with the shortlisted participants by email.

  • How will my data and customer information be shared or used?

    Successful nominations will be asked to submit additional details about the use-cases where the winning entries will be featured in the AI Gamechangers Compendium – to be launched in NASSCOM’s annual Xperience AI platform. The information shared by you/your company in the application or when asked for during the selection round will be reviewed only by the AI Gamechangers Selection Panel. Any sensitive details (e.g. client name, technical specifications, etc) will be redacted in the compendium upon request and will not be shared further.

  • Am I eligible to apply if I applied last year?

    Yes, you are eligible if you have a successful AI Implementation to showcase.

  • What is the eligibility criteria?

    1. Use case provided should be live and not in pilot/protype stage.
    2. The use-case will be judged purely on the merit of impact over the past 2 years even if it has been operational longer than that.
    3.The Applicant or any of its subsidiaries should be registered in India. The AI Solution needs to be either deployed or developed in India.

  • How will I know the status of the application?

    As we progress in the challenge, the applicants would be informed on the next steps. Please note emails will only be sent to the email id shared in the application.

  • Is there any offline form I can refer to?

    Yes, Download AI Research and AI Use Case Deployment, enclosed offline form is for your reference only. However, only the online applications would be considered.

  • Can I submit more than 1 application for different usecases?

    Yes, you can apply for multiple categories and usecases.
