NASSCOM has partnered with Nomura Research Institute (NRI) on a research report (combination of primary and secondary research) that outlines Japanese investment into Indian IT between 2016 up to 2021 and provides a trend prediction for next couple of years. This is first time such an ambitious initiative has been undertaken to quantify Digital Investments made in India by Japan and result thereof. This report will serve as benchmark index of gauging progress made since last few years and predict future trends for years to come and guide Government response with its targeted policy intervention to further enhance digital ties between both countries.
The report will be launched by high-profile representative from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), India and Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Japan and keynote remarks will be given by the Indian Ambassador to Japan, Shri Sanjay Kumar Verma.
