NIPP ER&D Innovation Challenge is a platform for start-ups to address the real-world pain points of Corporates, ER&D GCCs, and Engineering Services Providers and pitch solutions to them with the objective to drive partnerships, foster collaboration and enable mutually successful business outcomes.​

    Connect with corporates to clarify and deep dive into the problem statement

    Asses the proposals and inform qualified start-ups about pitch session schedules

Problem Statements
  • As the first touchpoint, webinars to 'Connect with Corporates' will be conducted as per below schedule where each use-case will be explained in detail.
  • Startups are encouraged to register for as many as they find suitable and use this opportunity to interact with the leaders first-hand to have their queries clarified.
  • This would be an important session to participate in, as based on the insights, expectations & guidelines given, startups will be able to submit their proposals, for the next round.

  • What are the pre-requirements to register/submit the proposal?

    Startups are eligible to register. In addition, the startup must have a solution (Prototype/MVP ready) for given 'Problem Statement'. Registering Startups should be private entities registered in India.

  • To what extent does the solution address the problem statement?

    Fully or partially

  • What is the registration fee?

    Regisration is free for all startups

  • How to register?

  • Can I register for multiple problem statements?

    Yes, each startup can Register for multiple problem statements

  • How to connect with corporates to clarify or deep-dive into problem statements?

    As soon as you 'Register', you will get a calendar invite to join the meeting with corporate team

  • How to submit the proposal?

    The 'Submit Proposal' will open from 24th June 2022

  • Can you submit the proposal without registration or connecting with corporate?

    Yes, the startups can submit the proposal if the requirements are clear to them. However, we recommend to join the 'Connect with Corporate' sessions before submitting the proposals to understand the needs in details

  • Can I "submit the proposals" for multiple problem statements?

    Yes, each startup can "submit the proposals" for multiple problem statements by submitting separate proposals for each problem statement

  • Can submit multiple proposals to the same problem statements

    No

  • How do I know our company qualified in the technical assessment round?

    NASSCOM will inform all shortlisted startups about pitch session dates with corporates

  • Is there any prizes for winners?

    The program aims to enable connection, collaboration and co-creation between startups and corporates to solve the emerging and evolving technology and business paradigms togethers. There are no prizes for the winners

  • What are the next steps after the pitch session?

    NASSCOM enables the connection between startups and corporates if the corporates are satisfied with the solution. The startup and corporate will mutually agree on further engagement
