Introduction

nasscom AI presents the "AI for Business Grand Challenge", designed to foster the spirit of innovation and revolutionize the B2B landscape. Embrace the opportunity to address real-world challenges and showcase your ground-breaking solutions.

In this challenge, start-ups and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) across India are expected to design enterprise grade solutions based on the "Areas of Interest" - process automation, customer care, IT automation, sustainability, IT security, and modernization, using the state-of-the-art embeddable AI offerings from our technology partner, IBM.

Areas of Interest
  • Process Automation
  • Customer Care
  • IT Automation
  • Cybersecurity
  • Sustainability
  • Modernization
Process Automation

Artificial intelligence (AI) is fundamentally about making things better for people. By putting AI to work across processes which are extremely complicated, or where the day-to-day is extremely routine with rote tasks, organizations free employees from tedious work and empower them to deliver faster outcomes and make better, data-driven decisions. Higher levels of job satisfaction leads to lower rates of attrition – and happier employees are more likely to produce happier customers.

Sample Use Cases

IT Automation

A more automated information infrastructure massively augments the oversight capabilities of IT teams, enabling them to achieve new levels of resiliency and efficiency. As a result, they can spend their time and expertise more productively to develop new innovations and get products into the market faster.

Sample Use Cases
  • Incident Management
  • Enterprise Observability
  • AI Ops

Cybersecurity

Cyberattacks are more prevalent, creative, and faster than ever. Artificial intelligence (AI) can not only expand visibility and accelerate response times and disposition with orchestration and automation, but compliance and security can also be built into a hybrid cloud architecture, determining who gets access to what and when, enforcing compliance with the ever-expanding set of regulations that firms must abide by.

Sample Use Cases
  • Threat Detection & Response
  • Data Security

Sustainability

Becoming more sustainable is an opportunity to innovate—one that artificial intelligence (AI) can help accelerate. It is both a goal and an outcome, driven by commitments that must be deeply embedded into an organization’s culture, operating models, and daily workflows to spur transformation and growth.

Sample Use Cases
  • ESG Reporting & Risk Management
  • Intelligent Asset Management

Modernization

Organizations that can quickly connect applications and systems can outperform those that don’t. Artificial intelligence (AI) can boost the enterprise-wide integrations that help teams operate quickly and proactively by unlocking data and applications to both internal and external consumers with the result that business can better anticipate and address customer needs as they arise.
