Overview

Artificial Intelligence is the winning edge that separates the good from the best. NASSCOM recognizes that and is keenly working with the Government, Industry, and the Academia to help deliver on the promise that is AI. A widely circulated NASSCOM 2020 report estimated that AI can potentially add ~500 billion to India’s GDP by 2025. That’s a lot of promise to bring to fruition.

As part of NASSCOM’s ‘AI for India’ mission, AI Gamechangers awards program was conceptualized to seed the awareness and enthusiasm around this wonderful technology, thereby encouraging overall adoption through the country. The awards will recognize innovative and impactful use-cases that solve an important problem, inhouse or otherwise. These awards are meant for everyone – Enterprises, Startups, Government bodies, Academic Institutes and NGOs. Diverse applications from different sectors are being received by solution creators and adopters alike.

The winning use-cases will be celebrated by being featured in the annual AI Gamechangers compendium – to be unveiled at Xperience AI platform, NASSCOM’s annual flagship AI event. The recognition and the associated prestige will catapult the winners to be seen as true Gamechangers in the field of AI.

The participants submit nominations for AI Gamechangers.

Screening

The nominations will be evaluated and shortlisted on key parameters – Innovation, Impact and scalability .

Presentation Round

7thto 18th June

Shortlisted participants will make final presentations to the Industry veterans and SMEs

July/August

Announcement of Winners and the release of the shortlisted AI case studies compendium at Xperience AI.

  • Is there any application fee?

    No

  • What is the eligibility criteria?

    1. Use case provided should be live and not in pilot/protype stage.
    2. The use-case will be judged purely on the merit of impact over the past 2 years even if it has been operational longer than that.
    3.The Applicant or any of its subsidiaries should be registered in India. The AI Solution needs to be either deployed or developed in India.

  • What is the deadline to apply?

    The application period for AI Gamechangers 2021 will be open from 4th March to 25th April 2021.

  • How will I know the status of the application?

    You will be sent an email regarding your application status.

  • How and where will the presentation round be held?

    The presentation round would be conducted virtually. The details will be shared with the shortlisted participants by email.

  • Is there any offline form I can refer to?

    Yes, here is the enclosed offline form for your reference only. However, only the online applications would be considered.

  • How will my data and customer information be shared or used?

    Successful nominations will be asked to submit additional details about the use-cases where the winning entries will be featured in the AI Gamechangers Compendium – to be launched in NASSCOM’s annual Xperience AI platform. The information shared by you/your company in the application or when asked for during the selection round will be reviewed only by the AI Gamechangers Selection Panel. Any sensitive details (e.g. client name, technical specifications, etc) will be redacted in the compendium upon request and will not be shared further.

  • Can I submit more than 1 application for different usecases?

    Yes, you can apply for multiple categories and usecases.
