India has emerged to be a strategic destination for global enterprises for leveraging innovation, productivity, efficiency and scale of operation. Arguably, the idea of Global In-house Centers (GIC) in India has come to be a microcosm of the global enterprises. 45% of global delivery centers are located in India, and given its significance, it necessitates constant benchmarking, pushing the frontiers of excellence relentlessly, and leveraging “digital” to play a pivotal role in transformation and create value, which goes beyond cost alone. Digital Revolution, has also manifested hitherto unforeseen challenges which are being addressed by newer and more powerful approaches including, data driven decision making, non-linear and Agile thinking, innovation amongst others. The unmistakable shift from information to intelligence, demands a whole new approach towards execution. Smaller teams but more empowered; innovation-led; a start-up like approach even within large enterprises, are some such. To draw an analogy from Physics – how do we increase acceleration without increasing mass? Challengingly, this increase will have to be exponential and not merely incremental! The 7th edition of GIC Conclave is scheduled to be held on April 21st and 22nd, 2016 at Hyderabad, proffering the theme “Transforming the Global Enterprise”. The objective is to share perspectives, of Dynamically Charged Change (digitally levered), its implications, and the role GICs would be expected to re-create. A powerful platform indeed, for experience sharing amongst peers.
