Research shows 87% of data stored by enterprises is useless and it’s only 13% which is useful. However, to get to the 13% we have to be prepared to go after all of it i.e. 100%. It’s the job of data scientists to sift through humongous data and cull out the vital 13%.

In his current role as Altimetrik’s Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for the company’s technology and business strategy alongside spearheading its research, innovation and inorganic growth initiatives. His ability to stitch together complex but precision solutions through a blend of business, solutions, architecture and technology has contributed significantly to the growth of many organizations. In his 24+ years of global and cross-domain industry experience with leading organizations such as Wipro, Covansys, Lehman Brothers and more, Madhavan has established specialist groups comprising of Solution Incubators, SMEs, Value Realization Partners and Architects grounds-up, has established a global eco-system of product partners, customers and academic institutions, has led efforts contributing to more than a dozen patentable techniques, citations / publications in research & technology journals.

Being an ardent evangelist of technology’s ability to transform businesses and touch lives, Madhavan is on the Engineering Research & Development (ER&D) council of NASSCOM, responsible for adoption & acceleration of innovation in India. An alumnus of BITS Pilani and speaker at several global technology and industry events, Madhavan has authored several thought pieces in leading publications. Cognitive sciences, Behavioural faculties and primary research are among his core areas of interest .
